...The party's over. So ends another season of Yankee baseball. They weren't even competitive. A-Rod had one RBI the whole series and that was a solo home run tonight. ONE RBI!!! This is like the third or fourth year in a row that they've been beaten in the first round of the playoffs. Oh well...Joe Torre is probably out as the manager and I don't who they'll bring in. A-Rod will probably not be back, but that's cause he's too damned expensive. Although if anyone has the funds to keep A-Rod its the Yankees.

So I guess it's time to move on. The Rockies are still in the playoffs. That's exciting if you live here in Denver. I'm not a Rockies fan, but it's fun to see a team that has been so dismal for so long start to win and have a chance at the World Series. I'm gonna pull for them and the Red Sox ONLY because my bro likes the Sawx and the Indians beat the Yankees. Can't root for the team that beat my team. Wouldn't be prudent...not gonna do it.

YES!!! I cannot believe I'm doing this, but I'm actually pulling for the Dred,I mean...Red Sox in the first round of the playoffs. I figure if they beat the Angels, and the Yankees beat the Indians, then the Yankees have a MUCH better chance of getting to the Fall Classic. Yankees can't beat the Angels to save their lives, but they've owned the Red Sox lately. So umm...go red sox, I guess.
